Justin Bieber has a habit of getting into trouble, but this time he's found himself in the middle of the world's biggest geopolitical controversy.

The Biebs inadvertantly offended millions with his visit to Japan’s controversial Yasukuni war shrine this week.

The shrine is generally seen by China and South Korea as a symbol of Japan’s militarism and lack of remorse, according to the South China Morning Post.

Bieber removed photos of his visit from Instagram and issued an apology Wednesday morning.

"To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry," he said, adding "I love you China and I love you Japan."
