SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Growling engines and one-of-a-kind cars will be on display for the Montecito Motor Classic.
The free event will be held on Coast Village Road Sunday September 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The prestigious group of vehicles on display will be limited to just 120 entrants.
The event is a fundraiser for the Police Activities League and the Police Foundation.
Sponsors include Michael Armand Hammer and the Armand Hammer Foundation, along with the Petersen Museum.
Cars normally in pristine garages will be on display. Some are only in this show each year.
The 2017 event commemorates the 70th anniversary of Ferrari and 50th anniversary of the Chevrolet Camaro.
There will also be a children's model car competition.
This week some of the classic cars were on display at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club where special posters, and artistic drawings for the event were revealed.
