SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Ness of Brodgar is a 5,000-year-old Neolithic complex, located in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. Nick Card, the excavation site director for the Ness of Brodgar, highlights how the site is important to understanding of Britain's history and the Neolithic period. 

The Santa Barbara Museum of History is holding an event with Mr. Card on the Stone Age structure, called "Secrets of the Ness of Brodgar," on Thursday, March 2nd from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for members, $12 dollars for non-members. They can be purchased at SBNature.org.
