Buellton Man Identified As Man Found At Gaviota Rest Stop

Gaviota, CA-- Officials with the Santa Barbara County Coroner's Office identified the 53-year-old man found dead, Wednesday morning at a Highway 101 rest stop.

Investigators say Richard Dean Harvey, was found dead in a white truck parked at the Gaviota rest stop. Detectives classified Harvey's death as suspicious because there were no signs of trauma.

Following an autopsy on Thursday, Drew Sugars with Sheriff's Department says there are no signs of foul play, and Mr. Harvey's cause of death is still under investigation.
