Football Coach Under Arrest For Attempted Murder
Paso Robles, CA-- Stephen Smith of San Miguel was arrested over the weekend, after a woman identified him as being the man who shot her several times Friday night.
Smith, is listed as an assistant varsity football coach for Paso Robles High School. The victim, a 34-year-old Paso Robles mother, was found by police Friday night, shot in the head and unconscious in a home on the 100-block of Via Promesa. The woman was able to tell police who she believed shot her, that's when they arrested Smith at a home in San Miguel. Smith appeared in a San Luis Obispo County Courtroom on Tuesday. He pleaded not guilty to two charges of attempted murder. He is currently being held on $1 million bail. |
