'Pulp Fiction' Director Honored In Montecito
Montecito, CA-- Bright stars lit up the sky Thursday night in Montecito, as Hollywood's brightest turned out to honor esteemed director Quentin Tarantino.
Tarantino, who's most recent film 'Inglorious Basterds' is already receiving Oscar buzz, was presented with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Kirk Douglas Award of Excellence in Film. Mr. Douglas presented Tarantino with the award and shared a dinner table with the acclaimed director. Past honorees include actor Ed Harris and Kirk Douglas was presented with the accepted the inaugural award in 2006. Tarantinio won an Academy Award for his groundbreaking original screenplay, 'Pulp Fiction.' |
