3.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Ventura County
OXNARD, Calif. (AP) - A small earthquake has rattled parts of
Ventura County. The U.S. Geological Survey says a quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck at 9:53 p.m. Friday. It was centered four miles east-southeast of the city of Oxnard and four miles east of Port Hueneme. An Oxnard police dispatcher says the department has received several calls about the quake, but no immediate reports of injuries or damage. Oxnard is about 60 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
