Santa Maria Elementary School Teacher Sentenced for Molestation
The Santa Maria elementary school principal accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage girl faces one year in County Jail.
32-year-old Brookann Collier -- former principal of Tunnel School-- plead guilty in July to five charges... including lewd acts on a child. Collier and the victim reportedly began having intimate contact five years ago. The victim is now 20 years old. Collier was sentenced Thursday to one year in Santa Barbara County Jail. She'll also be on probation for five years. In addition, she has to register as a sex offender for life and has lost her teaching credential. Collier was also ordered undergo sex offender treatment. |
