Lompoc Says Yes To Wine Center Resort
Lompoc, CA-- The City of Lompoc is one step closer to becoming a hot destination on the Central Coast for wine enthusiasts.
Just this week, plans for an upscale wine resort were approved by the Lompoc City Council. Over a decade ago, Lompoc's wine industry was as empty as a vacant lot, but times are changing. And that vacant lot will be the site of the new Santa Rita Hills Wine Center, which is expected to bring much needed revenue to the city. Located on the eastern edge of town at the corner of Highways 1 and 246, the center would include a restaurant, a tasting room, retail and office space, a wine processing and storage facility plus an all inclusive resort. As Key News Reporter Mike Klan tells us, the wine center would be another component to the fertile wine business in Lompoc |
