Michael Jackson, The 'King Of Pop' Is Dead

UPDATE: A source close to the Jackson family tells KEY News that Michael Jackson has passed away after going into cardiac arrest. Media outlets have surrounded UCLA Medical Center awaiting a press conference with hospital staff.

Los Angeles,CA-- KABC out of Los Angeles has confirmed, that pop icon Michael Jackson experienced cardiac arrest Thursday afternoon.

In an email alert from TMZ, it is reported Jackson was rushed to a hospital from his home in Holmby Hills home in L.A.

KABC confirms that 911 calls were placed from the superstar's home just before 12:30 p.m. When paramedics arrived they begin performing CPR on Jackson.

KABC is reporting that the singer was taken to UCLA Medical Center.
