Going Solar Just Got A Little Bit Easier
Santa Barbara, CA-- On Tuesday, Santa Barbara County Supervisors have voted on a plan to make converting your home to solar power more affordable for county residents.
Right now, it would cost thousands of dollars to put solar collecting panels on your home. However, residents may soon be able to get help with the payments. In many cases, the money you save on your electric bill would be the same, if not less, than the payment for the solar panels. The plan hasn't been finalized yet, but Supervisor Carbajal says it should be in a few months. KEY News Reporter Ryan Carmel has more. |
