Several Small Fires Shutdown Southbound 101 In Ventura

Ventura, CA-- Several small vegetation fires have caused the shutdown of the southbound lanes of Highway 101 in Ventura, just south of Victoria.

The small fires were reported around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon by passing motorists.

According to the CHP Incident page, 3 juveniles were seen in the area acting suspiciously.

Ventura County Fire Department has several engines on scene working the fires.

The Ventura Police Department is advising motorists traveling from Ventura towards Oxnard to use Highway 126 to Wells Rd. south or Harbor Blvd south to Gonzales Rd east.
