Fighting with a collection agency can be a very frustrating experience. Consumers often complain about getting collection notices in the mail and harassing phone calls at all hours of the day and night. It's even more frustrating when the debt is not yours. That's what happened to Jim and Jan Canby. The Santa Barbara couple started receiving collection notices back in 2006 and things just kept getting worse after that.

KEY News anchor C.J. Ward takes a closer look at the Canby's case and finds a way to fight back.
