A homegrown rendition of the disney classic "Beauty And The Beast" is helping break in the brand new Dos Peublos Performing Arts Center. The new $14 million facility kicked off its first showing of the fairy tale Monday morning. Over seven hundred and fifty elementary school students watched as a selfish prince turned into a beast who must learn to love and be loved in order to break the spell on him.

If you would like to catch a show tickets can be purchased online at www.dphs.org and the school's business box office, which is open from 8a-4p Monday through Friday. Showtimes are May 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 7pm. An additional matinee will be May 24th at 2p.
