One of Santa Barbara's most popular swimming pools is being shutdown for the summer. The city of Santa Barbara will do repairs on the Los Banos Pool from June 21st through August 29th. The improvements include replacing the deep end wall, re-plastering and general maintenance. Some swimmers can't believe the city chose the hottest time of the year to make the repairs. KEY News Reporter Mike Klan spoke to city officials about why they felt the summer was the best time to do the repairs.
