A firefighter is recovering after being injured while fighting a fire in Nipomo. The blaze broke out at a rec center on Frontage Road and Hill Street shortly before 7:00 Wednesday night. Crews contained it about two hours later. Santa Maria fire officials say about 50% of the building was damaged. Authorities will only say the injured firefighter was not burned. San Luis Obispo County fire officials say they're looking for four people in connection with the fire. Please call 543-9642 if you have any information.
