KEYT is proud to share with you some of its lost treasures. In this case, vintage local news film footage.

What makes this material so special is that it was just recently uncovered in our archives and it hasn't been seen for more than 45 years.

That is.. until now.

What you, our viewers, are about to see wasn't shot by NFL Films.

It was shot by a former KEYT photographer who recorded not only NFL history, but local history.

And what better time to reveal it than with the Super Bowl kicking off Sunday.

As you're about to see, for one week in 1967, Santa Barbara was home to an eventual Super Bowl champion.
