Suspected Gang Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition

Oxnard, CA-- Police in Oxnard are looking for suspected gang members they believe is responsible for shooting a man Thursday night.

The shooting happened just after midnight when a car driving down the 2000 block of Sutter Place, pulled to a stop. That's when police say, the shooter got out of the car yelled gang slogans and then shot the 22-year-old victim.

The victim was rushed to St. John's Regional Medical Center, where he underwent treatment and was listed in critical condition.

The gunman was last seen leaving in a dark colored sedan or compact car. Anyone will information about this shooting is urged to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
