SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Organizers of a healing vigil said the Las Vegas shooting can have lasting psychological effects.
That's why members of the Santa Barbara Response Network hosted a healing vigil at the Unitarian Society in Santa Barbara on Monday evening.
They want people feeling pain, loss and anxiety to know they are not alone.
Mayor Helene Schneider and State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson took part.
The Las Vegas gunman killed and injured residents from the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura Counties.
SBRN volunteers offer compassion, connection and assistance.
