SBCC Still Seeking First Win

Written by KEYT Sports

The Santa Barbara City College football team had an early edge on Moorpark, but a second quarter surge propelled the Raiders over the Vaqueros 24-9, dropping SBCC's record to 0-4.

The Vaqueros got a safety on the opening kickoff for a quick 2-0 edge, then Keegan Robilotta hooked up with Tyson Heller for an 11-yard touchdown play to give the Vaqueros a 9-0 lead.

However Moorpark scored just minutes later and again before halftime to build a 14-9 lead that wouldn't be relinquished.

SBCC falls to 0-4 and will open up conference play on the road next Saturday at L.A. Southwest.
