Oxnard Football Player In Critical But Stable Condition

Padilla Remains In San Luis Obispo Hospital

Senior Adrian Padilla from Oxnard High School remains in critical but stable condition at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.

The safety injured himself last Friday at San Luis Obispo High School when he suffered a concussion. He walked off the field but collapsed on the sideline. He later underwent emergency brain surgery.

The Oxnard Yellow Jackets will wear Padilla's #25 on their helmets this Friday during it's home game against Buena. Donations can be made for Adrian Padilla at any branch at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust.
