Cardinals Clinch Frontier Title With Lopsided Win

In its tune up for the little big game this Friday with Carpinteria, Bishop Diego rolled to the outright Frontier League title with a 54-3 win over Villanova Prep.

The Cardinals racked up 434 yards and scored on its first seven possessions, leading the game 33-0 at halftime.

Brandon Gonzalez scored four times for the Cardinals, while Jack Gregson had 159 yards on the ground and also scored a touchdown on a 46-yard run.

Bishop Diego is now 8-1 on the season and finishes a perfect 4-0 in league.
