CIF Playoff Brackets Released

With the regular season in the books, on Sunday the CIF released the playoff brackets so now a number of Tri-County teams will begin the quest for a CIF title.

In the East Valley Division, Bishop Diego will host Brentwood, Grace Brethren will travel to Paraclete.

In the Northern Division, number one seeded Westlake will host Eastside. Oaks Christian, the number two seed will also be home, the lions will host Mira Costa. Thousand Oaks will travel to Quartz Hill, Moorpark will go to Valencia and St. Bonaventure will be on the road at Redondo.

In the Northwest Division, Lompoc will host Verbum Dei, Santa Ynez will travel to Torrance, Nordhoff will welcome Don Bosco, Cabrillo will be home against Oak Park and Carpinteria will also be hosting a first round game, the Warriors will face Templeton.

In the Western Division, Righetti will host Downey, Channel Islands will go to Santa Monica, Ventura will be home against Dominguez, Camarillo will host San Luis Obispo and Dos Pueblos will head to Arroyo Grande.

All games will be on Friday with the exception of Lompoc, the Braves will play its first round game on Saturday.
