Coming off a 68-0, 300 yards passing performance for Jeff Matthews, in week four he led the Scorpions back from a 25-3 deficit against Ventura to finish off the Cougars 26-25.

In a three week span, Matthews threw for more than 800 yards and has led the Scorpions to a 4-1 overall record.
