These Oscar contenders and presenters will arrive at the Oscars this year in high-mileage, low-emission vehicles like the Toyota Prius Hybrid, the new Camry Hybrid and the new Lexus GS 450h.

These celebs and others – a record number – have been enlisted in the 2006 Red Carpet, Green Cars campaign, which seeks to increase the profile of hybrid vehicles by pairing them with high-profile stars.

Hybrid vehicles release 80 percent fewer emissions than the average new car sold today.

Oscar nominee David Strathairn, up for Best Actor for his role in "Good Night and Good Luck," said, "I think we all should do whatever we can to use environmentally friendly products."
