Event Description

This new exhibit opening at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum and running January 22nd through April 24th. The exhibit contains graffiti and artifacts left behind by the troops on their three-week journey to war.
Join us for the opening of this poignant exhibit and a panel discussion with curators Art and Lee Beltrone and veterans James Reeder and Charles Van Frank, who both sailed on the ship, moderated by Vietnam veteran Peter Bie.
