Ryan's arrival at KEYT-TV is actually a long overdue homecoming.

Ryan grew up in the San Fernando Valley, but spent more than a decade in Minnesota going to school and getting his start in television news. The snow and frigid temperatures made him realize it was time to come back home to Southern California.

Prior to KEYT, Ryan spent two years as a morning news anchor at the ABC affiliate in Duluth, Minnesota. While in Duluth, Ryan earned an Emmy for best morning newscast. Ryan also worked in Eau Claire, Wisconsin as a news anchor and Mankato, Minnesota as a weather anchor and news reporter.

Ryan enjoys hiking and camping. He wants to check out some new places along the central coast. He also is looking forward to spending more time with his family. In his spare time, Ryan likes spending time with his wife and new baby girl.
