After years of visiting my family in the Santa Barbara area it is so nice to finally make this area my home. The road was long, beginning in my hometown of Boston, where I began as a radio reporter at WATD in Marshfield, MA. I then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado, where I spent three years as a reporter and weekend sports anchor at KKCO.

Our region has so much to offer when it comes to both news and the sporting world. From high school and college action, to surfing and other outdoor activities, there is so much to do and cover here. I look forward to it.

Although growing up as a Red Sox fan, it's been an easy transition following the great tradition of the Dodgers, the Angels, and other local franchises.

When I'm not at work I enjoy exploring the area, playing music, and doing something I can't do in the harsh winter weather of Colorado and Massachusetts -- running outdoors.
