I grew up in New York and moved to California with my family in 1973.

I graduated from UCSB in 1979 with a degree in communications. I worked at KTMS AM-FM Radio as a reporter for KEYT in 1988. From 1989 to 1991 I worked as a freelancer for KNX radio in Los Angeles and K-Lite radio.

In 1991, I was hired at KEYT TV. Over the years, I have reported, produced and have been the Assistant News Director at Channel 3.

I'm also the Travel News Director for the weekly radio travel show "Around the World". It airs live on 1290AM on Thursday mornings.

I've lived in Santa Barbara for thirty years. My husband Jon and I have s son, Danny, who is currently studying film at the University of California Santa Cruz.
