After graduating from UC San Diego, she began her career in the mid 80's producing, reporting and anchoring in Palm Springs.

She then spent four years at KEYT, first as producer, and eventually as anchor of KEY NEWS Midday.

She and husband CJ Ward both accepted jobs in Phoenix, where they spent nearly six years. During that time they added two beautiful daughters to their family.

Beth returned to KEYT in 2002. They are happy to be closer to family, and to the beaches of Santa Barbara.
