C.J. Arrived at Key News in January, 2002. He anchors the 6, 6:30 and 11 pm newscasts every weeknight on Channel 3 with Paula Lopez.

Before joining KEYT, C.J. was the Investigative/Call 12 For Action Reporter at KPNX-TV in Phoenix, Arizona and before that he helped create the Troubleshooter 5 Unit at KPHO-TV in Phoenix. C.J. Also worked as the 47 On Your Side Reporter at KJEO-TV in Fresno and at stations in Lansing, Michigan and Palm Springs.

C.J. was honored with a 2011 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Investigative Reporting. He also won the 2010 RTNA Golden Mike Award for Best Investigative Reporting (Div.B) and received a 2010 Emmy nomination for Journalistic Enterprise. C.J. is a four time Emmy winner and nine time AP Award winner.

He also donates his time to several causes and is a Board Member for the Santa Barbara Arthritis Foundation. This year the Arthritis Foundation gave C.J. the 2010 Mary G. Kendall Award for his years of service.

C.J. is married to KEY News Morning Anchor Beth Farnsworth. Their two beautiful daughters love the beach as much as their parents.
