C.J. Ward joined KEYT in 2002 from KPNX (NBC) in Phoenix, Arizona where he had been the Investigative/Consumer Reporter.

C.J. Anchors the 6, 6:30 and 11 pm newscasts every weeknight on Channel 3 with Paula Lopez. He also reports live every weeknight on KEY News at 11.

C.J. began his career at KMIR-TV in Palm Springs. He’s also worked in Lansing, Michigan and Fresno.

He has an extensive background as an Investigative/Consumer Reporter and has won four regional Emmy Awards as well as nine Associated Press awards.

C.J. is married to KEY News Morning Anchor Beth Farnsworth. Their two beautiful daughters love the beach as much as their parents.
