Shawn joined the KEYT team in November of 2006 as weekend meteorologist. He graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Geography with a heavy emphasis in atmospheric sciences. Shawn worked at KTLA in Los Angeles for 10 years as weather segment producer.

Along with his duties at KEYT, Shawn is also a full time teacher for Oxnard School District. He teaches 8th grade science. He has a beautiful wife and three daughters ranging in age from 12 to 2 yrs old. Shawn enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and riding bikes with his family.
