Beth Farnsworth is an Emmy award winning journalist, with a strong emphasis in producing. This is her second "stint" at KEYT; Beth worked at the station during the 80's for four years, producing, reporting and anchoring NewsChannel 3 Midday.

The UC San Diego graduate launched her career at the NBC affiliate in Palm Springs, where she was honored for her work on Immigration issues.

Years later, she and her husband and colleague, CJ Ward, married and moved to Phoenix, AZ for eight years where Beth worked on an Emmy-winning team producing documentaries and children's science shows, among others.

Beth is passionate about education and environmental issues, but the job that brings her the most pride is raising the couple's two daughters. The Ward family moved to Santa Barbara in 2002.

Beth's passion for reporting is followed by her love of anchoring NewsChannel 3 this Morning. The position gets her up at 2:30 every morning, but allows her to put the kids to bed at night.
