Sara Bush grew up on the Central Coast, and can truly say, “there is no place like home.”

After graduating from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California, where she studied Media and Journalism, she went to work as an assistant editor at a production company in Orange County. The company specialized in extreme sports films and programming.

Sara worked with some of the world's most adventurous people, and on projects like Red Bull’s Flugtag.

In 2006, she returned to the Central Coast to follow her dream of becoming a reporter.

She worked as a producer and reporter for KCOY/KKFX in Santa Maria for four years, before taking on the role as Morning Anchor, and weather anchor over the past year.

She is happy to be joining the NewsChannel 3 team as a part time reporter.

When she's not working, Sara enjoys running, hiking, and being outdoors. She also loves spending time with her fiance, Eric, and their weimaraner, Cooper.
