KEYT - KCOY - KKFX Senior Reporter
My path to KEYT started out at KSUL radio in Long Beach with a group of clever and talented young broadcasters. We were all obsessed with radio and TV 24 hours a day. That creative spark launched my career. I went on to the newsrooms at KZLA, and KFWB, in Los Angeles, KPRO in Riverside and KTMS 1250 in Santa Barbara.
I jumped over to TV at KEYT, where I am a Senior Reporter covering breaking news, politics, the environment, and local movers and shakers. Even though the panoramic view is spectacular from TV hill, I am not often there. I love being "on the go" as a front line street reporter in Santa Barbara.
I have stayed in radio along the way, serving a tour of duty as News Director of KTYD and also KEYT Newsradio 1250.
These days, in addition to KEYT, I can also be heard delivering the news on KJEE 92.9 and KCLU 102.3 radio, and I write a column weekly in the Carpinteria Coastal View Newspaper.
I recently won an Emmy Award with KEYT for coverage of the Refugio Oil Spill.
In my free time, I work with many charitable organizations raising money as an auctioneer and Master of Ceremonies at their events.
